Image Gallery

The Image Gallery provides a unified view of all images from your conversations, whether they were shared by you, generated by AI, or received as attachments.

Accessing the Gallery

Click Gallery in the sidebar to open the image gallery. You'll see a grid of all images from your conversations.

Gallery Features

Grid View

Images are displayed in a responsive grid:

• Hover over an image to see details
• Click to open the full-size viewer
• Use scroll to load more images

Image Viewer

Click any image to open the viewer:

• View full-size image
• Download the original file
• Navigate between images with arrow keys
• See image metadata and source conversation

Filtering

Filter images by:

• Source - ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or generated
• Date - Date range picker
• Type - Photos, screenshots, AI-generated, diagrams
• Conversation - Images from a specific conversation

Search

Search for images by:

• Caption or description
• Conversation title
• Date

Image Sources

Images come from various sources:

Imported Images

Images from your exported conversation history. These were either:

• Uploaded by you to the AI
• Generated by the AI (DALL-E, etc.)
• Shared by the AI as examples

Generated Images

Images created with Chatelope's Image Generation feature.

Edited Images

Images modified with Chatelope's Image Editing tools.

Organization

Collections

Create collections to organize related images:

1. Select images (click the checkbox)
2. Click Add to Collection
3. Create a new collection or add to existing

Tags

Add tags to images for easy filtering:

1. Open an image
2. Click Add Tag
3. Enter or select tags

Favorites

Star images to add them to your favorites:

• Click the star icon on any image
• View favorites with the Starred filter

Actions

Right-click an image or use the menu for actions:

• Download - Save the original image
• Copy - Copy image to clipboard
• Share - Generate a shareable link
• Open Conversation - Jump to the source conversation
• Delete - Remove from gallery

Storage

Images are stored locally on your device:

• Original quality is preserved
• Thumbnails are generated for faster browsing
• Storage usage shown in Settings

Tips

• Use keyboard navigation: arrows to move, Enter to open
• Press G from anywhere to open the gallery
• Drag images directly into chat to use them
