Image Generation

Chatelope integrates with leading image generation models to create images directly within the app.

Supported Models

Getting Started

1. Go to Settings > AI Settings
2. Enable image generation
3. Add your API key for the provider
4. Click Generate in the sidebar or chat

Generation Interface

Text to Image

1. Click Generate in the sidebar
2. Enter your prompt
3. Select a model
4. Adjust settings (optional)
5. Click Generate

Prompt Tips

Write detailed prompts for better results:

Basic:

A cat

Better:

A fluffy orange tabby cat sitting on a windowsill,

Best:

A fluffy orange tabby cat with green eyes sitting on
a wooden windowsill. Warm afternoon sunlight streams

DALL-E 3

• Size - 1024x1024, 1792x1024, 1024x1792
• Quality - Standard or HD
• Style - Vivid or Natural

Flux

• Aspect Ratio - Various presets
• Steps - Quality vs speed tradeoff
• Guidance - How closely to follow the prompt

Common Settings

• Number of Images - Generate multiple variations
• Seed - For reproducible results

In-Chat Generation

You can also generate images while chatting:

1. Start or open a conversation
2. Type your prompt with /image prefix
3. Example: /image a sunset over mountains

The generated image will appear in the conversation and be saved to your gallery.

Cost

Image generation uses API credits:

View your usage in Analytics > Image Generation.

Gallery Integration

Generated images are automatically:

• Saved to your image gallery
• Tagged with ai-generated
• Linked to the prompt used

Tips

• Start with simple prompts and iterate
• Use style keywords: photorealistic, digital art, watercolor
• Specify composition: close-up, wide angle, bird's eye view
• Include lighting: soft, dramatic, golden hour
• Save successful prompts for reuse
